Abstract
The paper gives results of an assessment of styrene emission control technologies for the fiber-reinforced plastics (FRP) and boat building industries. Control costs for these technologies were developed and compared for three hypothetical plant sizes. Results of this cost analysis indicate that increasing styrene concentration in the exhaust streams can significantly reduce cost per ton of styrene removed for all technologies examined.
