Abstract
The purpose of the report is to appraise the various aspects of the effect of agriculture on water quality and use in the Wabash River Basin and to make recommendations on how agricultural pollution may be feasibly reduced. Subjects covered include: Description and interpretation of the major soils; historical and current agricultural water usage; agricultural economy of the basin; effects of land use, erosion, sedimentation, agricultural chemicals and livestock feedlots on water quality; and steps that can be taken to reduce agricultural pollution of water.
