Abstract
This project was initiated to evaluate the water quality of northern Green Bay. Green Bay phytoplankton assemblages were characterized by high abundances and domination by taxa indicative of nutrient rich conditions. The most significant components of the communities were diatoms and cryptomonads in May and blue-green algae in August and October.
