Abstract |
The report assesses the adequacy of the Environmental Protection Agency's proposed Ambient Air Monitoring Equivalent and Reference Methods, published in the Federal Register of October 12, 1973. To assess the applicability, validity and workability of the regulations and determine the costs to demonstrate equivalency, the provisions, specifications and test procedures of the regulations were evaluated in two phases using three automated methods or analyzers and two manual methods. The comments regarding the proposed regulations submitted to EPA by respondents were also reviewed. |
