Abstract |
On April 24, 2002 (67 FR 20206), the EPA proposed the 'National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants: Surface Coating of Metal Furniture' (40 CFR part 63, subpart RRRR) under section 112(d) of the Clean Air Act (CAA). Public comments were requested on the proposed rule, and comment letters were received from industry representatives, industry trade groups, and Federal and State agencies. A total of nine comment letters was received. A listing is presented of all persons who submitted written comments, their affiliation, and air docket number and item number for their comment letter. A public hearing was not requested. The written comments that were submitted on the proposed rule have been summarized, and responses to the comments are included in the following chapter. This summary of comments and responses serves as the basis for revisions made to the rule between proposal and promulgation. |
