Abstract
The GC/MS Data Management Process (DMP) is an example process for reducing measurement and identification data produced by a GC/MS to that necessary for input to the EPA sample file control system. This example is structured for a Finnigan Incos Data System. The user's guide (Part I) explains the commands available to the user and the resulting outputs. It explains the links between the modules. Examples are also provided for assistance. Some modules which were intended to be part of this package are not yet available in Version 1.0. A companion report (Part II) documents those programs.
