Abstract
In order to provide consistency in the data set generated by the Pilot Toxics Monitoring network, a laboratory measurements work group was formed to discuss the procedures to be used for measurements. This group of laboratory, State, local, Regional and EPA representatives had a series of discussions to define critical details of the measurement procedures needed to provide data to meet the needs of the NATA, the data users, and the national air toxics Pilot City monitoring program. The purpose of this document is to outline the procedures that the laboratory work group have defined. The document is to be used as a supplement to the EPA Compendium of Methods identified for use by the Pilot City network.
