| Abstract |
The literature review summarizes current data on the effects of pesticides and metals on marine organisms, aquatic environmental research methods, bioaccumulation of pollutants by estuarine and marine organisms and in water/sediment residues and biota. Results of studies of the environmental effects of dredging, dumping, wastewater sludge and complete effluents are reported. The occurrence of diseases and tissue abnormalities in fish is discussed, as well as research related to marine oil pollution. |
