Abstract | The objective of the work was to conduct a geographic analysis and priority ranking of possible non-point sources and loads to Galveston Bay. The study area was defined by GBNEP to include the entire Galveston Bay drainage area with the exception of the Lake Houston and Lake Livingson watersheds; loadings from these upper watersheds were not mapped but were subjected to a separate pollutant loading analysis. The primary elements for the non-point analysis included watershed hydrology, load estimates, ranking of subwatersheds, upper watershed influences, and mapping. |
