Abstract | In selective tests for individual air pollutants, the bulk of organic vapors cannot be specifically determined by purely chemical means; fractionation methods such as vapor-phase chromatography must be used which demand a non-selective method of sampling. Adsorption has been used for this purpose, but has never been critically evaluated. For this purpose, a contract was initiated for the design and evaluation of a portable adsorption sampler. |
