| Abstract |
This summary report consolidates the major findings and conclusions of several individual studies, which included: Tests conducted to contrast the biological and chemical conditions in an urban creek with a rural creek; Monitoring urban runoff quality and quantity from 3 urban areas; Analysis of many source area, urban runoff, and creek samples for metallic and organic priority pollutants; Sampling of urban stormwater and base flows from 2 residential areas. Collection of street dirt samples and evaluation of effects of street cleaning and catchbasin cleaning on improvement of urban runoff quality. |
