Abstract
The report describes the exhaust emissions and fuel economy results from two prototype vehicles powered by state-of-the-art two-stroke cycle engines. These vehicles were tested over the Federal Test Procedure (FTP) and Highway Fuel Economy Test (HFET) cycles; the sampling process included the measurement of particulate emissions. The report also includes a description of the test vehicles and engines, the tests and procedures used, future efforts, and appendixes containing detailed individual test results for both vehicles.
