Abstract |
The proceedings document the 10 presentations made during the Seminar, which dealt with subjects related to EPA's research and development activities for control of air pollutant emissions from the combustion of pulverized coal. The Seminar was divided in two parts: participating in the portion on fundamental research were Rockwell International's Rocketdyne Division, KVB Engineering, Inc. and Southern California Edison Co., EPA, Holland's International Flame Research Foundation, and Jet Propulsion Laboratory; and taking part in the portion on pilot- and full-scale tests were Babcock and Wilcox (Alliance ResearcsiCenter), U.S. Bureau of Mines, Esso Research and Engineering Co., Combustion Engineering, Inc. and Tennessee Valley Authority. Purpose of the Seminar was to provide contractors and industrial representatives with the latest information on coal combustion research. |
