Abstract
The paper identifies four of the more significant diagnostic problems that have been observed during EPA's radon mitigation efforts, explains why they are of concern, and, when possible, offers potential solutions. The problems are: (1) inconsistent sub-slab aggregate; (2) access to radon entry surfaces; (3) diurnal and seasonal variation in radon concentrations; and, (4) the impact of radon in water on radon in air.
