Abstract |
The Statistical Methods Manual documents statistical analysis methods applicable to data collected by the Environmental Monitoring and Assessment Program (EMAP). The methods described give procedures to estimate the current status of ecological resources that are appropriate for survey designs implemented by EMAP. The methods apply to analyses of EMAP regional demonstration studies and R-EMAP studies. The audience for the manual are statisticians of scientists with a reasonable background in statistics. The calculations are detailed so that a scientific computer programmer can implement the methods. |
