| Abstract |
During the early 1980s the EPA Office of Research and Development conducted field evaluations at eight hazardous waste incinerators, eleven industrial boilers, and eight industrial furnaces to characterize their emission and assess the performance of these facilities to destroy hazardous waste. The results of these studies plus trial burn data submitted by 14 RCRA applicants are summarized and compared with the 1982 hazardous waste incinerator regulations and the proposed industrial boiler and industrial furnace regulations. |
