Abstract
The paper describes statistical methods used to evaluate data for toluene (at several typical operating temperatures and humidity levels) and to determine which measure of humidity (relative or absolute) is more important in determining carbon adsorption efficiency. The water content of a solvent-laden stream is critical for its control via carbon adsorption especially at relative humidities about 50-70%. (Relative humidity is the percent of saturation: absolute humidity is the total water content.)
