| Abstract |
The synthesis and/or purification of a group of polynuclear aromatic (PNA) hydrocarbons, commonly found as pollutants in the environment, are described. The steps used in a given synthesis, the experiments carried out, and a presentation of some instrumental data obtained in establishing the identity and purity of the hydrocarbons are included. Publications derived from this work are cited. |
