Abstract |
The BLP (Buoyant Line and Point Source Dispersion Model) was developed specifically for aluminum reduction plants. Aluminum reduction plants are a complex arrangement of emission sources. In addition to theoretical considerations, BLP is based on extensive wind tunnel simulations of two reduction plants and an SF field study tracer program at one of the plants. Software Description: The model is written in the FORTRAN programming language for implementation on an IBM 3090 computer. The software is distributed on a 5 1/4-inch IBM/PC-compatible diskette. Data is in compressed format but a dearchive utility is included. |
