Abstract | The overall objectives of Phase II of the project continue to be the same as those of Phase I, namely, the improvement of equipment and techniques for the mechanical harvesting, processing, and disposal or utilization of aquatic vegetation such that these methods can be an efficient tool in the management of nuisance plants in waterways. Primary emphasis in this phase of the work has been on high-speed harvesting, application to field-scale operations by Dane County, Wisconsin, and continued work on processing and utilization of harvested material. Included as an appendix is a Bibliography on Dewatering and Dewatering Processes by Vladimir I. Fomin and H. D. Bruhn, containing 293 references. |
