| Abstract | The 1983 world literature on the effects of pollution on freshwater fish, amphibians, invertebrates and plants was reviewed. The effects of physical pollutants such as pH, and dissolved gases and organic and inorganic chemical pollutants are included. The review contains 625 references from reviews, symposia and journal articles. |
