Abstract |
The document: (1) describes diagnostics which will assist the CMB user in identifying the most influential species in CMB calculations; (2) demonstrates testing done on diagnostics by using sets of artificial data and intercomparisons among diagnostics; and (3) recommends a modification of the pseudo-inverse matrix (MPIN) diagnostic to be used in identifying influential species. Influential species are those which have large effect on the estimated source contributions or its error. |
