Abstract
The Office of Inspector General (OIG) of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is evaluating long-term monitoring at Superfund sites deleted from the National Priorities List (NPL). This is being done to ensure EPA has valid and reliable data on the conditions of these sites. The Wildcat Landfill Superfund Site near Dover, Delaware, is one of eight sites being reviewed. We collected groundwater and surface water samples and conducted a site inspection. We compared our results to past results reported by EPA Region 3.
