Abstract |
An oxygen activated sludge system consisting of a unique gas-tight biological reactor, gravity clarification and solids handling equipment was operated on District of Columbia primary effluent during a two-year period over a wide range of loading (F/M 0.26 to 2.0) with Solids Retention Times (SRT) from 2.0 to 3.0 days at the EPA-DC Pilot Plant. Operation and performance are discussed. |
