The report presents the results of sediment circulation studies in the northern portion of San Francisco Bay. Work included the development of a numerical model and the conduct of a long term sediment tracer study using neutron activation methods. The tracer program used quantitative techniques to measure the vertical distribution of dredged sediments at select stations covering a 100-square mile area over a ten-month period. (Author). |
