Abstract
The interim report presents concepts and guidelines to be used in considering Level 2 sampling and analysis for organic compounds. It suggests specific procedures. (The final Level 2 organics procedures manual will include more fully developed concepts and procedures, specified as much as is possible for a wide range of conditions.) The report is intended for experienced research teams, thoroughly familiar with environmental sampling and analysis, Level 1 procedures, and the phased approach. It does not attempt to teach the detail which is more adequately found in other publications, but relies heavily on reports published previously by IERL-RTP and its contractors.
