| Abstract |
Upon discovery of a release from a solid waste management unit at a Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) facility, a complete site investigation should be performed to determine nature and extent of the release. Once the release and its extent has been characterized, and determined to be a threat to human health or the environment, corrective measures must be implemented. The draft final report discusses the various types of removal/containment (includes disposal) and treatment technologies which are applicable to remediation of releases to soils. |
