| Abstract |
The annual report of 'Sewage and Water Works Construction 1961' is published as one part of the basic data program required and authorized in Public Law 660 (as amended by Public Law 87-88), the Federal Water Pollution Control Act. The data published herein provide a continuing and ready source of information and reference as to how successfully the national needs in municipal water supply and pollution control are being met through construction of the necessary physical facilities. This publication also establishes important year-to-year cost trends in the national economic picture in the three types of public works construction involved. (Author Modified Abstract) |
