An investigation has been in operation to determine the effect of the use of water which eventually flows into the Great Salt Lake upon mosquito production, waterfowl propagation and management, agriculture, recreation, and other programs which are connected with the use of this water. The project is expected to provide demonstration areas that will show how certain kinds of water management practices can: minimize the production of pest and disease-bearing mosquitoes, increase crop yields, provide improved conditions for wildlife production and management, and improve beneficial uses of the land and water in the area. |
