The report gives a comprehensive description of how to use the computer program which performs the calculations in the mathematical model of electrostatic precipitation, and instructs in the proper use of the model. The input and output data associated with the computer program are described in detail and are presented in various forms covering the different uses of the model. The predictions of the model are compared with experimental data, and the agreement obtained is discussed. The various applications of the model are described and demonstrated in detail. Applications of the model for troubleshooting and sizing of precipitators are discussed. Precautions to take in using the model are emphasized throughout.
