Abstract
These proceedings document the Sixth Symposium on the Transfer and Utilization of Particulate Control Technology, in New Orleans, LA, February 25-28, 1986. The symposium, the second of its kind to be sponsored jointly by EPA and EPRI, was devoted to discussions of particulate emissions control. Its objectives were to promote the transfer of results of particulate control research to potential users of technologies, and to provide a medium for exchange of ideas between researchers in the fields of particulate control development and application. The proceedings contain 84 papers presented by EPA and other federal and state agency representatives, EPRI staff members, representatives of utility companies, equipment and process suppliers, university representatives, and research and development companies. Volume 2 of the Proceedings contains 35 papers on electrostatic precipitator technology presented in the Hot-Side Precipitator. Performance Enhancement I and II, Performance Estimating (Modeling), Advanced Technology, Fundamentals I and II, Control and Energy Consumption, and Design Considerations Sessions.
