Abstract |
The report summarizes the findings of a Dallas field study during the December 1986 - March 1987 period. The objectives of the study were to identify the nature of winter visibility problems in Dallas, the constituents responsible for visibility degradation, and the sources of those visibility-reducing species. For the study period, the report concludes that coal/lignite combustion, vehicle operation, and wood combustion are the most important sources of the winter visibility problems. Proportions of the visibility degradation due to each source type are stated. |
