This document contains a portion of the material used for the Short Course on the Applications of Computer Programs in Preliminary Design of Wastewater Treatment Facilities. The short course lectures appear in Section I of the report which is under separate cover. Section II, contained herein, contains the users' manual and program listing for the Executive Program for Preliminary Design of Wastewater Treatment Systems. The manual describes the use of the program and subroutines. Several examples show appropriate input and expected output for a variety of applications. In addition, the theoretical basis for the calculations are shown in the form of conventional mathematical and equivalent fortran equations. The program listing includes the main program and each of 27 subroutines, representing different treatment processes, energy consumption, and cost calculations.
