Abstract
This is a report describing the design and operation of the Mitsui Aluminum Company's SO2 scrubber at Omuta, Japan. The report is a factual presentation of the information gathered by James A. McCarthy and James F. Durham of the U. S. EPA, and Howard E. Hesketh of Southern Illinois University during their visit to the plant in July of 1973.
