Abstract |
The purpose of the document is to identify key issues related to assessing and managing the potential health and environmental risks of oxygenate contamination of water. The present document focuses on those gaps and limitations in current information that constitute the most critical and immediate needs to be addressed in support of risk assessment and risk management efforts related to oxygenates in water. This document is primarily intended to serve as a starting point and general guide to planning future research. Efforts to address many of the needs identified in the document have already begun or are under consideration by various organizations. A current listing of such projects may be found in Appendix 2. |
