| Abstract |
The study resulted from a discussion with representatives of the Bureau of Water for Erie, PA., concerning various possible approaches for expansion of their municipal water plants. The study was designed to check the influence of high-rate and dual-media filtration coupled with the elimination of conventional flocculators and settling tanks on the finished-water quality. |
