Abstract
The document contains guidance and discussion on methods applicable to the proposed revisions to Title 40 Part 58 of the Code of Federal Regulations. The proposed revisions pertain to the enhanced monitoring of ozone precursors and meteorological monitoring. The precursors addreased include volatile organic compounds, carbonyl compounds oxides of nitrogen, and total reactive oxides of nitrogen. The meteorological parameters include surface meteorology and upper air meteorology. The primary users of the document are expected to be Regional, State, and local Environmental Protection Agency personnel addressing the new enhanced ozone ambient air monitoring provisions.
