Abstract |
A comprehensive data base of chemicals identified in feral and food animals has been established. This effort has grown out of the concern over continuing reports of toxic chemicals in human tissues and body fluids. Feral populations and food animals are regarded as indicators of environmental contamination and subsequent human body burden. This data file is a companion to Chemicals Identified in Human Biological Media, A Data Base, and follows basically the same format. Data were obtained primarily from the open literature through manual searches (retrospective to 1979). The data base contains information on 134 different substances. (ERA citation 08:021827) |
