Abstract |
Al(+3) and Fe(+3) in concentrations from 10 to 400 ppm have been used alone and in conjunction with silica and organic polyelectrolytes for removal of color from Kraft Mill first-stage bleachery waste. These studies were made in the report over a range of pH values from 3.5 to 10. Under optimum conditions 90% of the color is removed along with 30-40% of the total carbon content of the waste stream. |
