Abstract |
A large scale modelling technique is developed to examine the effects of perforation geometry on the heat transfer and friction loss performance of compact heat exchangers consisting of the plate-perforated rectangular fin surfaces. The technique can also be used to determine the optimum perforation geometry and to interpret test data from compact heat exchangers. (Modified author abstract) |
