Abstract |
This report reviews the state-of-the-art of sorbent materials for cleanup of hazardous liquid spills. The pertinent characteristics of 90 hazardous liquids and a matrix is provided to indicate the tested and anticipated compatibilities between the liquids and sorbents. Some conclusions are drawn about the state-of-the-art and the suitability of various sorbent types. A comprehensive testing program is recommended. |
