Abstract
The report gives results of field measurements, carried out on three full scale industrial scrubbers to determine scrubber performance characteristics, including particle collection efficiency as a function of particle diameter. The three scrubbers were different gas-atomized spray types with pressure drops ranging from 54 to 178 cm W.C. Their performance on major sources of fine particle emissions was compared to a mathematical performance model for venturi scrubbers.
