| Abstract |
This conference was held to improve communication between those concerned with air quality management and those concerned with land use and transportation planning. The sessions are aimed at identifying the major problems and issues that exist in fitting together land use and transportation plans and policies with air quality objectives and programs. There are sessions dealing with the legal and policy setting situation, planning and air quality maintenance at the urban-metropolitan scale, regional air quality management programs and information needed by land and transportation planners and managers. |
