Abstract |
That corrosion caused by aggressive water not only carries the threat of distribution system deterioration but also poses a potential health hazard is generally recognized. But just how widespread is the problem. And how serious. A national survey covering water suppliers serving approximately one fifth of the US population shows almost 70 percent of the representative utilities to have moderately to highly aggressive waters. |
