Abstract
The report is Vol. 5 of a series of 7 reports summarizing Illinois EPA's 1991 Illinois Volunteer Lake Monitoring Program (VLMP). It provides a summary of 1991 VLMP lakes in West-Central Illinois a program overview, volunteer participation, and a ranking of lakes on a regional basis. Thirty-nine volunteers recorded total depth, Secchi disc transparency, and field observations for 25 lakes in West-Central Illinois between May and October, 1991. Average transparencies ranged from 13-133 inches. Volunteer water quality samples were collected at 7 lakes once every month from May thru October and ambient lake data.
