Abstract
The Federal Water Pollution Control Administration Pollution Surveillance Branch, maintains a system of water quality sampling stations on interstate waters in the Northwest Region. Throughout the year the water samples are collected at these stations and analyzed, and the data are used to evaluate water quality. Knowledge of conditions peculiar to these stations is valuable in the evaluation of the data obtained. This study documents conditions at Station No. 153018 located on the Snake River seven miles downstream from the Lewiston-Clarkston bridge. Diurnal and spatial variances occurring at the station were observed during a 24-hour period. (Author Modified Abstract)
