| Abstract |
The report covers four years of research on the control of water quality in a tidal estuary. The contents include: An evolutionary river model via continuous on-line system identification; A study of a water control system to maintain the dissolved oxygen standard; Development of a water quality control strategy for rivers and estuaries using hybrid computer modeling techniques; A system for remote telemetry of water quality data; Bubble coalescence and gas transfer in aqueous electrolytic solutions; Mixing in self-sustained turbulence; Behavior of gas bubbles in aqueous electrolytic solutions. |
