Abstract
This paper briefly describes the Regional Particulate Model (RPM), and illustrates some of its capabilities with preliminary results. The model was designed for addressing both the assessments and emissions control strategy options required for the NAAQS review. This model provides a basis for understanding the complex temporal and spatial distributions of air pollution on scales ranging from urban-suburban to regional (sub-Continental) scales.
