| Abstract |
The analysis examined in detail the causes of polluting spills from selected petroleum systems (onshore and offshore crude oil drilling, production, and gathering/distribution systems). The study included the compilation of data from Federal, State and industrial spill reports, a field survey of the various types of facilities, and an analysis of spill-causing failures. Volume II contains eleven appendices that provide the detailed information upon which the findings are based. |
