Abstract |
The report describes a program carried out to design and evaluate the performance of an electrostatic collector to be used as an alternative to filters as a fine particle collector. Potential advantages of an electrostatic precipitator are low pressure drop and high capacity. Potential problems are unreliability and poor collection due to back-corona or lack of particle adhesivity. |
